What’s  on & Team Notices

Please Note the Community Cafe at St Barnabas is now open.  It is open every Tuesday morning between 08.45 and 10.00am.  Please drop in for tea/coffee,  toast/oatcakes.  All very welcome.

St Andrews next Workday is 2 June at 10.00am,

The Society Of St Wilfred & St Hilda. This is a free to join society for people who are not in agreement with the ordination of women to the priesthood or female Bishops, which the general synod has agreed to. The bishops are meeting at present to decide what action to recommend regarding those who hold traditionists views. Newcastle Charity Market - We now have 3 volunteers but really do need three more. Would anyone be interested in helping with a stall at Newcastle Charity Market on Monday 4th June ? We are hoping to get enough people to help for a maximum of 2 hours each. If anyone is interested please contact Sylvia Kenny on 635799

Monday 14th May Archdeacons Visitation - All churchwardens must attend 6.45pm for 7.30pm start at St Andrews, The Westlands

Tuesday 15th May Diocese of Lichfield forward in faith seeking to work together with the Society of St.Wilfred and St.Hilda. At St.Peter's Rickerscote, Stafford 7:30 Mass. AGM.Speaker - :The Bishop of Beverley. All Welcome .

Wednesday 16th May: There is no 7.00pm Mass at St Andrews please see notice about Ascension Day Mass

N.B Thursday 17th May is Ascension Day and therefore a day that the Church keeps as a day of Holy Obligation. Please make every effort to come to the 7.30pm Sung Eucharist/Mass at St. Andrew's.

Saturday 19th May at 10am St Andrews are holding a plant and cake fayre on the Church grounds. All welcome. Refreshments available

Monday 21st May 7.30pm Emergency PCC Meeting - Re: The future of the Team at St Barnabas Church, Bradwell

Sunday 27th May 11am-4pm ‘Wheels at Wolstanton’ Vintage cars, motorbikes, American trucks and much more, children's Fun Area, auto Jumble and table top sale. Adults £2/children £1

Monday 28th May 2012 at 7-30pm St Margarets Church Wolstanton presents Wolstanton within Living Memory by Mervyn Edwards Admission £3. including refreshments. All Welcome please bring any school/ wedding /old Wolstanton photos. All proceeds to Mothers Union and A.F.I.A.
